# Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Dream Journal mobile application ("the App"), operated by CrazyBee ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

## 1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Dream Journal, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them along with our Privacy Policy.

## 2. Description of the App
Dream Journal is a personal dream logging and analysis application that allows users to:
- Record and store dream entries with text, audio, and mood data
- View dream statistics and analytics
- Access guided sounds and sleep content
- Sync entries to the cloud (for registered users)
- Unlock premium features via subscription

## 3. User Accounts
### 3.1 Registration
You may use the App without an account. To enable cloud sync and certain premium features, you may sign in via Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
### 3.2 Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to keep your information up to date.
### 3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms.

## 4. Premium Subscriptions
### 4.1 Free and Paid Tiers
Dream Journal offers both a free tier and a premium subscription. The premium subscription unlocks additional features including unlimited cloud storage, audio recording, and an ad-free experience.
### 4.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
### 4.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are given.
### 4.4 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not directly issue refunds.
### 4.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any price change before it takes effect.

## 5. User Content
### 5.1 Ownership
You retain full ownership of all dream entries, audio recordings, and other content you create within the App ("User Content"). We claim no intellectual property rights over your content.
### 5.2 License to Us
By using the cloud sync feature, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
### 5.3 Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
### 5.4 Data Deletion
You may delete your content and account at any time. Upon account deletion, your cloud-stored data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

## 6. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our **Privacy Policy**, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.

## 7. Advertisements
The free tier of the App may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks. These networks may use cookies and similar technologies in accordance with their own privacy policies. Premium subscribers receive an ad-free experience.

## 8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App (excluding User Content), including but not limited to the software, design, graphics, icons, and sounds, are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our express written permission.

## 9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
- Use automated scripts to scrape or interact with the App
- Distribute, resell, or sublicense access to the App

## 10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

## 11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CrazyBee, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
